Money Market Changing Name to High Yield Savings Account

My USCCU

Beginning on Tuesday, March 19, we will be changing the name of our current Money Market accounts to High Yield Savings accounts.

This name change will be noticeable in the following locations:

  • On your paper statements or e-statements

  • Within online banking

  • Within the USCCU mobile app

Please note, this is only a name change and does not affect how your account is structured. The dividend rate tier system will remain the same. As part of this name change, we are updating the APY* rates for each tier. We’ve listed the rates below which will go into effect on March 19, 2019. Click here for all current rates.

Less than $1,000 0.15%
$1,000 - $4,999.99 0.20%
$5,000 - $9,999.99 0.20%

If you currently have your Money Market account (now High Yield Savings account) linked for overdraft protection, this will be automatically updated to reflect the name change as well.

This name change will not impact any previously set up scheduled transfers, payments or direct deposits.

Again, this is only a name change for the account and no action is required on your part.

If you should have any questions about this change, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Member Service Line at 615-256-8712 or by email at info@usccu.org. Thank you for trusting us with your financial needs!

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. All accounts are variable, and the rates may change at any time. Fees could reduce the earnings on the account. Final dividend rates are declared by the Board of Directors at the end of each calendar quarter. Rates current as of 3-8-2019.
