USCCU has been actively listening and learning throughout these past few weeks. The crisis of racial inequality, particularly against Black Americans, has come to the forefront. It may not be immediately evident, but this crisis impacts us all in many different ways. Please know your credit union is here to listen and support our members and employees.

In support of our nation's reflection on the suffering our Black community has faced for hundreds of years, US Community Credit Union will be closing at 2:00p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020.

This day is known as Juneteenth, an unofficial American Holiday, which commemorates the Union army general Gordon Granger's reading of federal orders in the city of Galveston, Texas, on 19 June 1865, proclaiming all slaves in Texas were now free.

We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this early closure may present, but feel it is important to support our employees and members as we all support our Black community.

We thank you for being a valued member of US Community Credit Union.
